Our 4 week ski & snowboard courses lead to the CSIA / CASI Level 1 certification which will enable you to teach children up to 12 years old and beginners. 

The package includes Level 1 training and exam fee along with AST Level 1 (Avalanche course) along with a host of other courses, including injury prevention, equipment information, ski tuning & boot fitting. Also included in the cost of the course is accommodation at the Alta Vista Chalet, dinner and continental breakfast 6 days per week, video analysis, store & gym discount and social functions along with a lift pass for the duration.

4 week Whistler Blackcomb Snow School University programme

The Whistler Blackcomb University Program (WUP) is a 4 week ski or snowboard instructor training course where you can gain a Level 1 ski (CSIA) or snowboard (CASI) certification and then step into a guaranteed job offer from Whistler Blackcomb once the program is completed.

In order to be eligible, you need to be approved for a Canadian working visa, be over 18 years or over, commit to the full 2013/14 season (15 November 2013 through to April 2014) and pass an interview and the Level 1 course.

The WUP at a price of £3950 includes a guaranteed job offer with Whistler Blackcomb, staff accommodation, Whistler Blackcomb season pass, resort rep available 24/7, 20+ hours of professional training per week, level 4 instructors only, small groups to maximise your training, one on one coaching sessions, CSIA or CASI Level 1 (Level 2 optional add on), lift line priority, video analysis, social events and après ski and lots more.

7 week course

The 7 week course will take skiers through the necessary training in order for you to gain your CSIA Level 1 & 2 certification within a 7 week time-frame. For snowboarders, the 7 week programme will lead to the CASI Level 1 certification.

This intensive ski instructor course in Whistler will help you to improve your interpersonal skills, become a better communicator and increase your technical knowledge as you advance your own skills, helping you reach new heights.

This package includes all training and exam fees (CSIA Level 1&2 or CASI Level 1) along with AST Level 1 (Avalanche course) along with many additional courses and workshops including customer services, communications, injury prevention, equipment information seminar, ski tuning and boot fitting.

Accommodation is once again at the Alta Vista Chalet where dinner and continental breakfast are included 6 days per week. In addition the course also includes video analysis, store & gym discount and social functions along with a season long pass!

11 week whistler ski or snowboard instructor course

The full enchilada, the 11 week "professional" ski & snowboard courses provide the opportunity for you to take part in lots of activities and gain extra qualifications whilst in Whistler. If you're looking for an unrivalled gap year experience in Canada or a career break into the snowsports industry, then this is the ski or snowboarding course for you.

You will gain the following qualifications:

• CSIA / CASI Level 1 & 2 
• AST Level 1

• CSCF Race Coach Entry Level Course
• CADS Level 1 course (Skiing for Disabled)

This package includes all training to gain your CSIA/CASI Level 1&2 and exam fees along with AST Level 1 (Avalanche course). Many additional courses and workshops are also included such customer services, communications, injury prevention, equipment information seminar, ski tuning and boot fitting as well as the above.
