The Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance

This training board is made up of four levels of certification each progressing from beginner to advanced level. Our 12 week ski instructor courses allow you to obtain both level 1 and 2. Level 1 is the entry level certification and allows you to develop the initial skills needed to be a ski instructor. On completion of this course you will have sufficient knowledge on safety issues and lesson planning among other aspects. Level 2 will heighten your knowledge and understanding of technique and teaching strategies.

The Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors

Embarking on our 12 week snowboarding instructor course will allow you to obtain your level 1 and 2 certification. Level 1 is an introductory snowboarding course that bestows those taking part with the basic knowledge needed in order to be a snowboard instructor. Level 2 will strengthen and improve on these skills at intermediate level.

New Zealand Snowsports Instructors Alliance

This is a superb qualification that is recognised worldwide for training some of the best ski and snowboarding instructors in the industry. Gain certification in the first 2 levels with International Academy ski and snowboarding courses in just 10 weeks.

The Canadian Ski Coaches Federation
