The New Zealand Snowsports Instructors Alliance (NZSIA) has been training and certifying ski and snowboard instructors since 1971. It is a first class organisation that awards worldwide recognised skiing and snowboarding qualifications.
Our 10 week courses enable you to attain the NZSIA Level One (formerly known as the CSI) and Level Two (formerly known as the Stage One) in skiing or snowboarding. The courses are suitable for strong intermediate or advanced skiers who can perform a parallel turn or link turns on red runs prior to doing a course. There are 4 levels of NZSIA instructor certification, the same number as other international bodies including the CSIA, PSIA, and BASI.
