Epic snow conditions in November
November has proved to be an epic start to the winter ski season, with Whistler Blackcomb recording its largest snowfall since records began in 1979. Over 540 cm of snow had fallen in November which is more than half the snowfall the resort usually expects over the entire winter season!
It's not only Whistler that has got off to a terrific start with a deep snow base. Sun Peaks Resort opened up early due to huge early season snowfall and Banff / Lake Louise also had epic powder skiing conditions and blue sky days.
