new austrian instructor courses starting oct 2012
International Academy are delighted to offer a new instructor training programme in Austria which takes place over the autumn on the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier near Kaprun.
The programme will run from 13 Oct - 24th Nov 2012 on THE glacier in Austria surrounded by the highest peaks in the country. With it's snow sure skiing and snowboarding at 3000m above ski level, fresh Autumn powder snow, varied and challenging runs, breathtaking views and it's extensive snow parks, the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier is truly awesome.
This programme offers fantastic value such as:
- the opportunity to gain the official Austrian Anwaerter qualification before the ski season has really got going, enabling you to start working earlier!
- a lower price and a very comprehensive package
- top level training from some of Austria's best coaches who are fluent in English
- the experience of skiing or snowboarding on the awesome Kitzsteinhorn Glacier - the first Glacier skiing region in Austria with spectacular pistes
- the opportunity to learn some basic German language and conversation (there is no need to know German before the course)

- breakfasts and meals provided 6 days a week with packed lunches provided on training days - meaning you won't have to spend much money on food.
The course is run in partnership with Ski Dome Oberscheider, Kaprun’s largest ski school and is open to skiers who can at least do parallel turns on intermediate terrain and competent snowboarders. Click this link to watch a video.
28 days of high level training and exams will lead you to the official Austrian qualification of "Skilehrer Anwärter", enabling you to teach in Austrian Ski Schools and all around the world.
