Port Solent, to the North of Portsmouth Harbour, remains one of the most famous sailing areas in the world offering a sense of excitement and adventure. It’s central position at the heart of the English Channel makes for an excellent starting point to visit the many surrounding harbours and anchorages which have played their part in English maritime history. You can visit the quiet inlets of Yarmouth and Ashlett Creek to the lively Cowes and Historic Portsmouth. Or, if you’re feeling more adventurous, the coastline of France, the Channel Islands and the West Country are all within reach.
Port Solent is home to Sunsail’s training facility and has a wealth of waters edge entertainment including restaurants, bars and shops lining a boardwalk looking out towards the marina.

The Whitsundays archipelago comprises of 74 islands located halfway between Brisbane and Cairns on the northeast Queensland Coast of eastern Australia.
The Whitsundays Islands offer a truly incredible sailing experience. In fact, many of the dense green islands with spectacular sandy shores are still uninhabited, and the only people to have set foot on the beaches have swam there from their yacht.
From the turquoise waters of the Coral Sea, palms and tropical rainforests and "picture perfect" white sand beaches, the Whitsundays is a sailing paradise. Part of the Great Barrier Reef also lies to the east which offers some of the best diving and snorkelling sites in the world with an abundance of marine life.
