day skipper 9 day combined course description
The RYA Day Skipper 9 Day Combined sailing course is designed for students who are looking for an efficient way to achieve their RYA Day Skipper Theory and Practical qualifications within a short period of time. The combined course includes both the theoretical and practical elements of the day skipper courses into one intensive block of training and instruction.
The course runs on selected dates throughout the year, and will be spilt into both practical sailing and theoretical phases when students will spend four days based ashore and five days based onboard.
At the end of the course, if successful, you will be awarded Day Skipper Theory and Day Skipper Practical RYA certificates. This will also enable you to claim your ICC qualification for free too!*
If you have a reasonable amount of previous sailing experience and are looking to progress in a short space of time, then this course is perfect for you. From our base on the south coast, this intensive course forms the ideal platform for setting sail on our Level 2 Flotilla or Yacht Charter holidays.
Tidal conversion
It you have completed your RYA Day Skipper qualification in one of our non-tidal destinations, then this course if for you! Enabling you to sail safely in tidal destinations around the world, our 2 day Tidal Conversion Course can be taken from our UK base, or in the Caribbean from our base in the breathtaking British Virgin Islands.
