2013
2 weeks
In partnership with Lake Louise Mountain Resort, we are now offering a two week "Peak Performance" improvement programme with a focus on tactical approaches to skiing or riding expert terrain. This would be suitable for strong, advanced level skiers and snowboarders who are looking for a short and exciting programme, with training and guidance from some of Canada's top pros.
This unique programme will give you the opportunity to sample the best big mountain terrain that the Canadian Rockies has to offer, including a tri-area lift and bus pass for you to access the Ski Big 3 resorts of Lake Louise, Sunshine Village and Norquay. From super steeps to wide open bowls and tree lined runs, these resorts have it all. Not forgetting some of the most awe-inspiring scenery you will ever see.
This programme may be of particular interest to past trainees who have completed an International Academy ski or snowboard instructor training course with us, as well as anyone looking for a 2 week ski or snowboard holiday with a difference!

ski rental partner
For our Peak Performance Programme, we are partnering up with Soul Ski & Bike in Banff to offer an "all inclusive" package to include high performance ski and snowboard rentals that are appropriate for the terrain on the programme. Further details will be provided to you on this.
You will need to have your own boots but this partnership will enable you to travel without skis (unless you want to use your skis), and therefore make the travel and transfer experience that much more enjoyable.
accommodation and food arrangements
Accommodation will be at the Best Western Plus Siding 29 Lodge which we have used for over 10 years for our ski and snowboard instructor training courses. The lodge has an excellent location just off Banff Avenue and is within a short walking distance to the centre of Banff. It has large twin-share rooms with queen size beds and people have really enjoyed staying here over the years. The swimming pool and whirlpool is also very inviting after an invigorating day on the slopes.
A hot breakfast buffet will be provided at the accommodation every day.
Group meals will be included in the programme on 3 selected days of the programme (outlined above), which will give you the flexibility to choose out of the 100 or so different restaurants and cuisine that Banff has to offer.
