Steve has been a trainer and examiner for BASI since 1999. He has coached hundreds of GAP year students to success in their BASI level 1 & 2 courses as well as having an excellent track record training students for BASI level 3 & 4 courses. A well known instructor in the Alps and has a reputation with his clients for taking them beyond their expectations in the off piste and extremes. He has worked all around the world as a ski coach since 1986 and is now the director of BASS ski schools in Tignes, Val D'Isere and Meribel. Steve has made a profession out of living the dream and is still passionate about snowsports and helping his students achieve their goals. Stu is very experienced in training students for instructor exams and BASI courses. He is a favorite with GAP students training with BASS and his students have achieved above the BASI average pass rate. Working in Tignes and Val D'Isere for many years now, he has a great reputation with students of all levels. He is an enthusiastic trainer and race coach that gets the best out of his trainees. Steph has a reputation that is second to none when it comes to snowboard training. He runs his own snowboarding school as well as delivering training for BASS GAP students. As one of the very few British qualified riders to reach this level, he will coach you in all areas of the mountain. Steph is from South Africa and this shows in his character, especially in the park and pipe. An enthusiastic and friendly trainer, who is raved about by his students.
